CVI Valentine’s Day Finds

February 17, 2012 by Andrei Leave a Comment

Valentine's Day Hearts

Certain holidays are perfect for finding great CVI items. Valentine’s Day is excellent for kids who prefer red or pink, two of Little Bear’s favorite colors. Many pharmacies, grocery stores, dollar stores and party stores will have holiday-specific items on sale after the holiday. This is the perfect time to find some new treasures to help your child’s vision. Recently, we found these lovely Valentine’s Day red heart lights. They are big, bright, sparkly and have an interesting texture. We plan to place them against a black background and hook them up to Little Bear’s switch box so he can turn them on and off himself. Let us know what great CVI-friendly objects you found this Valentine’s Day!
