Backyard Bubble Fun

Every year, as the weather warms up, we start coming up with ways to make our backyard more accessible for Little Bear. We have discovered that he LOVES bubbles. Visually, bubbles can offer movement and shininess, both of which often appeal to kids with CVI. Certain brands of bubble solution also seem to increase the color of the bubbles, making them even more CVi-friendly. With his cerebral palsy, playing with bubbles in a typical way is not easy for him, so we were delighted to find an assortment of switch-adapted bubble machines on Enabling Devices! We’ve had some great backyard bubble sessions already this summer using our Octopus Bubble Blower! What are some of your favorite ways to make summer time more accessible?
